Skipping Mad was Michael's band in college (when we met). I had to include them on my list because (a) they really were an awesome band and I still listen to their songs all the time, (b) the fact that Michael was in a band was pretty influential on my interest in him, and (c) if I were trapped on a desert island, it would be nice to have Michael there with me.(in no particular order)
What are your Top 5 Desert Island Rock Bands?
What are we defining as a band? This is what it would probably be for me right now. Even though these aren't all bands.

4. Bob Marley and the wailers
5. Justin timberlake (with a band)...you know what I'm talkin bout, Kellie!
Here's my strictly bands list:

1. Sheryl Crow
2. Snow Patrol
3. Ingrid Michaelson
4. Dashboard Confessional
5. The Civil Wars
But I could be okay with a mixture of Erin's and Josh's list too (like Jimmy Eat World, Stars, CSNY, James Taylor)
@Kellie - I had to divide up my music into multiple categories, so Ingrid Michaelson is on my Top 5 singer/songwriters list. Have you gotten Snow Patrol's new album?
ReplyDeleteI don't have any money to buy new music, so no. I think I should make a singer/songwriter list as well. That would leave open a couple spots for my band list huh?!
